Celebrate Lunar New Year 2024 Promotion

THE PROMOTION

1. Celebrate Lunar New Year (the Promotion) commences on 06/01/2024 at 9am AEDT and ends on 02/02/2024 at 4.30pm AEDT (the Promotion Period).

2. The Promoter is Bendigo Club, 22 Park St, Strathdale, 3550.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

3. Entry into this Promotion is open to members and patrons of Bendigo Club who are not excluded from attending the venue.

4. In order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion, a person must be aged 18 years or over.

ENTRY

5. Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged over 18 years who satisfy these Terms and Conditions (the Entrant).

6. Members and patrons will a receive a FREE scratchie when spending $10.00 or more in a single transaction anywhere (excluding TAB or Keno) in the venue between 9.00am AEDT 06/01/2024 and 4.15pm AEDT on 02/02/2024.

7. Only one scratchie will be provided for each transaction of $10 or more, irrespective of the total transaction amount (i.e. a $30 transaction is awarded 1 scratchie not 3).

8. Scratchies may also be given out at random during the promotional period by Staff at the management’s discretion.

9. 6000 scratchies showing 3x Dragon symbols will provide an entry into the Weekly Draw.

10. 300 scratchies will award an instant prize as per follows:

    • Free pot for beer, glass of house wine or soft drink (3x Tiger symbols)
    • $5 Venue Voucher (3x Rooster symbols)

11. Scratchies only remain valid for redemption until the completion of the Major Draw on 09/02/2024 at 6.30pm.

12. Total prize pool value = $7,160

    • Major Prize = $888 cash
    • Minor Prizes:
    • 19x $88 cash ($1,672)
    • 20x $50 Venue Voucher ($1,000)
    • 300x House Beverage ($2,100)
    • 300x $5 Venue Voucher ($1,500)

13. All scratchies need to be correctly filled in and placed in the barrel no later than 4.15pm prior to each Weekly Draw.

14. At the end of each Weekly Draw all entries will be removed.

15. Weekly draws: 10 entries will be drawn every Friday from 4.30pm:

    • 1st Draw: 12/01/2024
    • 2nd Draw: 19/01/2024
    • 3rd Draw: 26/01/2024
    • 4th Draw: 02/02/2024

16. 10 weekly winners will each receive an invitation to the Major Draw Promotion. (Major Draw Invitation recipients). Patrons may have multiple entries in the Weekly Draw and, should their entries be drawn more than once in any Weekly Draw, they will receive a matching number of Major Draw Invitations.

17. The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to contact the Winners of the Major Draw Invitations using the details provided on the Entry Form. In the event that the Winner/s cannot be contacted those entries will be deemed ineligible for any further progress in the Promotion.

MAJOR DRAW PROMOTION

Major Draw: – Friday 9th February 2024 from 6.30pm

18. All Major Draw Invitation recipients are required to place their entry in the barrel from 4.30pm until 6.15pm on 9th February 2024.

19. Entries received after 6.15pm on the 9th February 2024 will not be allowed to participate in the Major Draw.

20. All Major Draw Invitation recipients must be present at the Major Draw or may appoint a proxy to pick a Lucky Envelope. If the Major Draw Invitation recipient or their appointed proxy is not in attendance at the time of the Major Draw they are ineligible to win any prizes.

21. 40 entries will be selected starting from 6.30pm, each selected entry will be allowed to pick a Lucky Envelope in the order in which they were drawn.

22. Winners will be published on the Bendigo Club website or displayed within the venue from 12/02/2024 for 30 days

INVALID DRAWS/ENTRIES

23. If the Promoter reasonably suspects that a drawn Entrant or Winner is not eligible, has breached these Terms and Conditions, or has acted improperly to increase their chances of winning the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize to that drawn Entrant or Winner and conduct a re-draw for the Prize that the drawn Entrant or Winner would otherwise have won.

24. Information on the Prize and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions.

25. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries.

26. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or change the Prize (or any part of it) if there are any changes to the law, which would or might render any aspect of the Promotion or the Prize unlawful. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of it) for an item or items of similar value.

27. To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these Terms and Conditions make no provision or in relation to which the relevant Terms and Conditions are unclear, the Promoter reserves the right to make a decision regarding such situation or issue in its sole and absolute discretion and such decision will be final and binding.

28. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

29. Directors, management and employees of The Promoter, their immediate families and any agencies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

30. Participants in the Promotion and/or the Prize agree that their participation in the Promotion and/or the Prize is at their own risk and, to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any damage or loss (including without limitation personal injury, loss of profits and loss of income) suffered by any person in connection with any participation in the Promotion or the Prize.

31. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, arising out of or in any way connected with the Promotion and/or the Prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of the Prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.

32. Entry into the Promotion shall be deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of entry and is deemed approval to use the Winners’ name(s) and photograph(s) for publicity purposes. The Promoter may at its discretion refuse to award the Prize to any entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

33. The laws of the state of Victoria govern the Promotion.

34. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct and administer the Promotion. Without your personal information we cannot enter you in the Promotion. Subject to some exceptions allowed by law, you may request access to your personal information while we store it. We will assess your request in accordance with the law and tell you why if access is denied. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to Privacy Officer at Kilmore Trackside.
